What would be the first day of your cycle, when you have a actual flow or when your wiping blood.

Im confused because i dont have a flow, but everytime i wipe i get quite a bit of blood.

lol.. I was told by the FT that you count from full flow, so if it starts in the afternoon then day 1 is the following day, if its in the morning then day 1 is that day..

but... I never really had a full flow as such, so I interpreted what was day1 myself.. iykwim.

I also wait for the flow, which is usually accompanied by cramping, so it's easy to pick. I usually get pink-tinged CM a day or so before, then spotting, then AF in all her glory. :rolleyes:

thats what i have atm blood in my cm when i wipe:)
so AF shouldent be too far away then huh.

Hmm now im confused lol this month i didnt really have a flow so i counted from the first day of my bloody cm which only lasted 3 days anyway and was over before AF was orginally due :rolleyes:

Hi Katherine,
this always had me baffled as well, until I asked my FS and he said that
CD1 is the day of actual flow not spotting.

Spotting is the tail end of your current cycle. When it actually flows is when your new cycle starts.
