I was wondering if you ladies had any idea if it was OK to fly when you are around 12 to 13 weeks pregnant? My DH is going on a business trip to Thailand at the end of April and I was thinking of joining him but wasn't sure if you could fly around that time. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yep, I flew at x-mas and I was about 16 or so weeks I think. They won't let you fly when you're about 5 or 6 weeks before your due date.

As long as you have no adverse medical conditions happening as well you should be fine.
I walk to the loo a lot as a excuse to stretch and maintain good circulation. I wear flight stockings too.
I flew 2 hour interstate flight at 36 weeks, only prob was pain in sinus which had never experienced before, extremely painful despite sniffing stuff, sucking lollies etc but once landed disappeared.
Have a nice holiday, you lucky ducky.

okay to fly but if in first trimester beware - I flew interstate at 7 weeks last preg and was sick sick sick. Not fun at all. So make sure you eat well and do all the things you'd usually do to prevent and treat morning sickness.

Enjoy Thailand you lucky thing. I LOVE Thailand and would go back there in a heartbeat. Just magnificent. You may want to get an airconditioned room - Thailand can get quite hot and humid.

Yep.. I flew right up until about 36wks.... I think after that you need a letter from your doctor... International flights are earlier but Im pretty sure the dates are listed on their websites.

So around 12wks isnt a problem, have a blast in Thailand. I'm jealous...

I am flying in June to England and i rang the airline and they said i will need a note from my Dr to say i am ok to fly. I will be 18 weeks then.

Ring the airline and check what policies they have for pregnant women flying. I am sure you will be ok to fly but you may need a letter from your DR to confirm :)
