This is the best thing about being pregnant for me - I don't have to wax my legs and I have 9 months of good hair. But I had a boy last time and looks like it is the same this time - so I think it has more to do with hormones then the sex of the baby.

Yes I had that too. Less hairy legs and fuller hair. Hair fell out after and legs are a lot hairier. I had a boy :p

Thanks ladies - i was thinking maybe i had an excess of female hormones and that this might mean a girl - looks like i will have to wait till the birth to find out the gender! :)

I guess it must be just part of pregnancy but i must agree with everyone else. I hardly need to shave my legs at all. Maybe our bodies just know that there is no way we can easily maintain our legs when our bellies get too big, so the hair just doesn't bother growing. I don't know about anyone else but I found after my son was born and i started breastfeeding the hair on my legs went back to normal slowly but the hair under my arms seemed to almost completely stop growing until my son slowed his breastfeeds when he started on solids.
