View Full Version : NEW BORN modelling
I know before I start even posting this that I may be opening a can of worms but ......
I genuinly want to know if anyone knows of modelling agents (other than North side) in Sydney that recruit newborns and what is the pre requisites for signing them up?? I have two children and on both occasions was asked very shortly after their birth if they were models as they were both born with incredibly LARGE eyes and long lashes. I was told by a number of people that due to these distinguishing features and their perfect complexion that I SHOULD have signed them up, so was thinking well this time round I might do something about it ....
Sorry Eleanor, I do think you are opening a BIG can of worms.
I personally don't agree with the whole baby and toddler modelling thing, feel it's a bit of exploitation.
And I'm sorry i can't help you much, the only thing I can suggest is doing a google search or looking in the yellow pages.
I know of a few kids agencies but because of my strong feelings on this issue I will not name them, you will find them on your own if that's the road you really want to take.

What a cute idea!! How good would it be to have some footage of bubby as a newborn star!! I would like to know where to sign up for this also.

New born modelling eh? Have you seen pic of Thomas!!! He too has big eyes and pretty long eye lashes, but since we are not into modelling, lets focus on your topic eh? :)
Sorry I can't help you there Elenour, try the local newspapers or googled it.
Good luck with the search tho....

Hey Eleanor,
I'd say go for it but be careful of the ones who ask for a heap of money etc really, really do your research and prove the get kids jobs and don't have a bazillion kids on their books.
Your kids are very beautiful for sure the next one will be too :D

Im totally all for modelling. I think its great to show off them at such a great time in their lives. Jayden's in Bambini Modelling agency in Sydney. They take babies on from 3 months old. He started at exactly 3 months. I suggest you give them a try too. Let us know how you go.

I had a look into modelling agencies and found they all took them at the 3-4 month age.. have a look around a lot of them have website or will emai you info and i found from this i was able to know if i would be comfortable with them.
I dont see any problem with modelling babies.. every company dealing with baby products will need a baby model and as long as they dont turn out like some of those 5 yr old girls in America who are dressed like their 20 who are you really hurting?
Good luck with your search.. would love to know who you end up choosing as i am about to make a choice about who i will call to interview DS.
