Hi everyone,
My name is Michaela. In October 2005 I gave birth to my son Oliver James who sadly was stillborn. Six weeks later I found out I was pregnant again and am now the proud mother of a healthy, stubborn 8 month old daughter, Winter Olivia.
I have been on quite a rollercoaster ride over the last 18 months and have received an enormous amount of support from SIDS and Kids. So as a tribute to them and to honor Oliver in the best way I know how, I am making a calendar.
I am in discussion with a few publishing houses to seek their financial support for this project and have also discussed this with SIDS and Kids. So at this stage I have not had the green light however I am confident that it is coming:fingerscrossed:
So I am looking for children or babies to photograph for this calendar, that are subsequent to a stillborn baby, preferabley under the age of 2 years.
Obviously you will not be charged for the shoot and as mentioned I have not received the green light so at this stage I cannot guarantee you child will be in the calendar however I will give you all of the images I take on disk. Oh and I forgot to mention I did actually study photography at RMIT and am in the early stages of setting up my own baby/childhood photography business.
