i found out i was preg bout 2 wks ago and last wk i got my peroid so i went to the doc she did a preg test and said im still preg but i gotta go for an os to see if everything is okas it could be the start of a miss carry. im pretty much finish my peroid and iv just done a preg test this morning and im still preg whats going on with me??? my os is next tuesday should i still go?? is the test still showing im preg cause im still on the last bit of my peroid?? i really dont know please HELP:confused:

By os do you mean ultrasound? I would definitely go and there's no way that you would get a positive test because of your period.

Some people do actually continue having periods when pregnant.Good luck with everything and if you are really worried, I'd try and call your local hospital or 13 health and explain what's going on.:hugs:

I agree, go for your ultrasound and that way you will get a definite answer either way - but if you are still getting positve readings that is also a good sign.

did your dr do a blood test to make sure your levels were still rising?

NOPE all she did was a urine test then told me to get an ultra sound to make sure everything was ok. i just have no clue cause my first preg was fine no bleeding what so ever.

it could be alot of things, you'll still have hormones if you did lose the pg, but it might not be whats happened..
i had a subchorionic hematoma with my last pg...lots of bleeding, the only way to confirm whats going on is the ultrasound...keep your thoughts positive:fingerscrossed:

The reason you are still getting a positve HPT is because as Bronny said - your HCG levels will still be high - this is not an accurate way to know if you are m/cing or not. The u/s is the way to go for sure. :fingerscrossed: all will be ok!

p.s a friend of mine gave birth 3 weeks ago, had her period the whole way, she actually had it a week befor she gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
i dont want to get your hopes up but i do think you need to know that their is still a chance
