View Full Version : 18-20 week scan - DVD?
Just wondering if anyone was able to get their scan on DVD?
I have my scan this Friday and I think it would be great to keep - if they can do it.
Do you know if most places do it and whether I need to pre-arrange it?
Sorry about all the questions - I just have no idea about this
Thanks

Hi Livy
We got one at our 12W scan (had to pay $5 for it) but they told us to bring it back at our 20W scan (today!) and they will add today's scan to it.
Can you call and ask? Maybe you can take your own writable DVD and they could burn it for you ?
Good luck :fingerscrossed:
Thanks Tara - I might have to give them a call now. Did you have to ask at your 12 week scan?

Hi,
My bub is due in May but I will answer here anyway
I had my 18 / 20 weeks scan done at the hospital and I was able to get it on DVD.
Phone the place your having your scan at and ask them - I had to take a blank DVD with me as they didnt supply them.
They may even be able to tell you where you can go for one if they dont do them there.
Good luck

I am going through the hospital and on the letter they gave me to confirm the appoinment they state clearly they do not do videos. I can request a picture but thats it.
DF has suggested w eget the scan and see about getting another one that will do video or dvd.
Well I am a bit disappointed now - I had a look on the Queensland Diagnostic Imaging web site and it says they have a no video policy - bumma! And that's the company my Dr gave me the referral for - so I guess I will have to make do with some pics.
It's definitely something I will be asking about for our next bub though
