I did a photo collage for my best friend, I just put together a bunch of pics and added a few comments to each of them, the pics wer of us together at our 21st's, weddings etc and places we had visited together through the years of our friendship etc. She absolutely loved it! And I really loved making it.

Did you have any special places where you used to hang out or that make you think of her or that you just think she would relate to?

We just bought friend of ours this photographic print taken of this gorgeous spot where you can only get this exact shot once a year, (it is of thr full moon in a particular spot over some mountains at sunset and if you miss that shot, you don't get a chance for another 12 mths), and explained the story behind it to them for the engagement present, (I also knew she loved photograpric prints), and they loved it.

www.paperworld.com.au (http://www.paperworld.com.au)

has papers from the day she was born. Lovely idea for a special birthday.

I'm also trying to find a link I used to have a couple of years ago. Its a jewellery shop that sends you a quiz for you and your best friend and then according to the quiz they send you both a necklace. It was such a cool present idea.
