Online tafe courses?

Anyone know of any? I know of Oten but I can't see anywhere on their website that it is for QLD people as well all I see is NSW. So can someone pretty pretty please point me in the right direction!!

QLD has OLI : Open learning institute of tafe....http://www.openlearning.tafe.qld.gov.au

Oten is in NSW but you can still do courses through them regardless of where you live. I am in Bris as well and am doing a course through them.

NSW tafes are generally cheaper as well. If you are on most centrelink payments or just received the max rate of family tax A you can get an exemption on the cost of the course. So all you will end up paying for is $50 for postage and handling and your text books...most of which you can probably buy for cheap second hand.

I have done courses through both OLI and OTEN and would definetly recommend OTEN as the one to study through.

I'm in Brisbane too and I study through OTEN! I have found them to be really great, highly recommended.

Yep OTEN and OLI both offer there courses Australia wide. I know OTEN offers it's courses to overseas students as well. You can check out their site @ :

OTEN can be studied Australia-wide! It's just got it's head-offices based in NSW but it's accessible to everyone! :thumbsup:

Yep Krissy you can still study OTEN in qld!!! You can do it in any state!

They even offer their courses for people overseas!!

What are you interested in doing? Semester 2 applications open on the 31st May! :yes:

You can join at any time of the year, but its best to start as soon as the semester starts, because that way you get the most out of the time you have paid for :yes:
