does any one have on of these (the rolling board you can clip to the back of the pram, not sure if they are called skatebaords...)

wouldnt any one recommend them? do they work for you?

and do you know what type of prams they fit to, and can be used on?

i'm finding i am constantly juggleing my two children in the pram and out of the pram, if one gets tired of walking, i take baby out as he is lighter to carry.
but that is still tireing, and awkward if you have to hold other things... and jsut the whole putting them in and out!

i dont know that my pram would hold another seat... so that was all i could think of

help please:)

oh and does anyone know where you can get them from, without paying a fortune, or any one have an old one that is bale to be posted :) ta!

You can get them from baby bunting and other baby stores and i don't think they cost too much. What type of pram do you have? Some prams have their own brand, but i think there are some generic ones too.

Hi there,

I have one!! It's fantastic  I got it when my ds decided he was no longer goning to sit in the pram.

I have a Valco Hitchhiker scateboard. I think it fits onto most valco prams, but probably other brands aswell. I actually bought a valco Titan Stroller for mine to go on, as I had a phil & teds and the scateboards wont go on that. I think I payed around $200 all up for pram & scateboard. I am so very glad I did it :)
I wouldn't really recommend it for kids under 2.5 though. They run off too much & get tired really quick. Just my experience. Ds is 3 in a few weeks & its great for him.

I'm thinking about one of these as well. My older one, he's 2 1/2, just loves running around and away, so I thought this might be a good solution.

I just don't know, if he would stay on this thing or if he would try to jump off and on, while pushing the pram

HEY Coffee, my son is also 2 and a half and I opted to get a double pram (the phil and ted e3) as like your lil one mines a runner and i just couldnt see him staying put on the skateboard for more then 5mins lol)
Its more pricey opting for a double pram BUT its saving me from having a heart attack when out and about with my full on toddler!
PLUS with the phil and ted you can remove the doubles kit when i just have my lil one so can be used as a single pram as well!
Babies galore have them on sale now (I saved about $100) well worth it!

thats what i am worried about, or falling off down escalators.

saw them on ebay, only place i have. but none of the ones listed seem to want to do postage only pick up.... (sydney or melbourne)

i also saw one they can sit on, that looked good

I got one off ebay, I paid $40 it was a pick up one. It doesn't fit on my mountain buggy though. I'm yet to get to babies galore to see if they have an extension bar of some kind so it will fit. Someone told me they do, so I hope they are right.

I know what you mean about juggling the two, my two are the same age as yours. I'm looking at limo style tandems on ebay atm, hopefully i can get one of them cheap.

i have a jeep cheroke pram, and a swallow voyager.... so dont know if anyone knows them and if it will fit them.

also if anyone does have a skateboard already, do they stick out very far, as i'm rather quite short, and already walk fairly close to the pram, will i kick it all the time?

Hi Katherine,

I have the Valco Hitchhiker and I can walk under it because it's a bit higher off the ground. I can still kick myself if I'm not careful though. I tried a different skateboard thing once but it was terrible and I had to walk hunched over. I ended up going to the baby shop and wheeling a pram with the hitchhiker attached around the shop to help me decide.

My girls are 3.4 yeas old but still quite little and they take turns but they still get tired. If I'm out for most of the day I will take the double pram instead.

Oh, and you can't use it on an escalator. (The ramp ones are ok though) Plus if I'm backing out of a lift I have to get my DD to hop off. Other than that it works well except for big days out when my girls get tired.

It's just he wouldn't sit still either. And I already struggle, putting a single Pram into my car, so with a double no chance.

I think, I just leave it the way it is. For shopping I just use this double Trolleys, the ones where the toddler can sit and the lil one is in the capsule and for going to Playgrounds, I don't have far. So he's fine with walking.

Since he started to walk, at the age of 8 mths , he doesn't wan to be in the Pram anymore.

I've seen one of these at Target one time and also in a Baby Store called Brisbane Baby Bubs (or something similar) but they were quite expensive and since I have an overseas model as a pram (Quinny Freestyle) I'm not sure, if that would fit or not..
