I was wondering if anyone has done a party plan business? I am thinking about doing a bag party plan, they are good quailty bags, but i am worried that i won't get the business. How did you get bookings going?

I am thinking of doing this as i am finding it hard to get a fulltime administration job, so i thought i could do this full time or part time.

I am looking at getting in to educational childrens toys- PP in february!!! Am hoping to con some friends into coming to the first few and then hoping to branch out from there!!!

Any other ideas would be welcome this way as well!!!

Start with family and friends if you can.

Try posting some flyers when you are out for a walk.

Let people know what you are doing. EVERYONE.

Try the library - books on starting a small business can be great.

really throw yourself into the first couple of months - it sets the tone for the rest of your business.

Make sure you have a passion for what you are selling too, it makes a huge difference, also what sort of supprt and backup will you get from your sponsor (or whatever).
