My DD's first MCN was made by me and waaaaaay too hideous to show on a public forum! Actually I think it's in the bin where it belongs now!
My first two were these (http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i212/happy_lady/DSCF0006.jpg) itti bittis. I brought them after Harry's mum had trialled these new fabulous trim fitteds. I think it was around the end of 2005? Anyway, I've since sold them but they were very cute.

that stripey nappy is the exact same material the only nappy i own is made out of, very cute!!
all your babys look so small and gorgous in their clothies.
i cant wait for my day to come. first nappy will be cloth!! im going to take a cover in with me so i dont ever have to use sposies, and here, if u use cloth (provided by the hossy), u just chuck it in their laundry basket and they do all the washing  i wouldnt take my mcn in just incase they got mixed up somehow and then lost, not willing to take that chance
This is my girl in her first 2 mcn's that i bought

My first MCN was dreadful, i'm lucky that it didn't turn me away from MCN altogether.
It was a snuggle butts or snuggle bums (one of them) fitted and i threw them in the bin on day 3. Click (http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j275/KarniF00l/Snugglebums002.jpg)
My first REAL MCN was a SwaddleBee AIO/pocket velour nappy Click (http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j275/KarniF00l/SwaddleBees002.jpg)
Jet's first MCNs were a bunch of various nappies I bought (mostly preloved on eBay) to try before I invested in packages/ new nappies.
He wore some terry flats in the first couple of weeks but also had some Tots Bots size 1 fitted (my fave on a newborn), some bamboo fitteds by a WAHM, some Beaut Bots, a small Honeyboy!, a small CK Raphael, a small Bubblebubs, a couple of BBH, plus I'd lashed out on a couple of Very Baby bamboo AIO's. And I took hardly any photos of him in them! dammit :banghead:
But here's one of him at 2 weeks old in a Bummis cover (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kimbaleo/280451961/in/set-72157594527375286/)(can't remember what nappy was under it) and again at about 2.5 weeks old in his bamboo fitted (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kimbaleo/285452563/in/set-72157594527375286/)(which was so big on him at first that we had to snappi it over the velcro to keep it tight LOL)
Here's a funny one at 5 days old in hospital in a terry flat (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kimbaleo/276810585/in/set-72157594527375286/) (which clearly I had no skill at putting on - look at those gaping legs  )

My first nappy purchase was a wahm fleece pocket (by ekidna designs) and it's the one in my avatar.
But i got impatient waiting for the fluffy mail and went and bought some peapods from an irl shop before it arrived.

All your babies are sooo tiny - how much they've grown!
Here's Ethan (this pics been round!) in his GK's (I bought my first one when they had the most recent Funtimes release along with an orange anytimes)
Click! (http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q294/BubbleCrazy/EthaninGKsColourfulCrabs2.jpg)
I like the baby eco - they fit Av better cos he is skinny. Even at 16 months the baby beehinds still fall off him.
