Hi im a married stay home mum (aged 35) of a wonderful son  after our 14 yr wait born nov 05. i dont know very many ppl i want to know other mums. since i had my son i have become shy and a bit of a recluse (which is total opposite of me) . i am easy going, i get along with all ages, honest, friendly love a laugh  etc. im just finding it hard to go to places for my son, to meet other kids. And i know that it would be good for him and me. i hope i can meet some new friends here that i can become friends with and maybe change me back to the way i was. i would like to have someone to chat with. i hope that might be you. give it a try. :)

Hey twinklestar1

Welcome to Bubhub. Its a great place to meet people and just like you! And the great thing is, you dont have to only discuss baby issues.

Anway, DD was born in Oct 05 and I also found it hard to get out and about (even more so after I went back to work part-time) and meet people so this has been an awsome resource for me.

Hi. I am quite new to this site and I have a 12 week old little girl (Ellery) and i too, have become a bit of a home body (very different to usual) as I don't have many friends where I am, and the ones I have don't have new born babies. I am unable to find any suitable groups to join or anything - so I was hoping I could meet some lovely people on here to chat to... Hope you are doing well.

Hi girls

I am a 32 year old mother of 2 DDS (8 & 5) and DH & 1 are TTC #3. I was in the same situation, twinklestar1 and melannh, when I had DD1. I was 23 and none of our friends were even married let alone had babies!!!! I joined every mother's group and playgroup that I could, and today some of those Mums I met back then are still really good friends of mine.

BubHub didn't exist back then and I've only discovered it now that I am TTC again.

Will be great to chat

Keep in touch

Hi there:wave:

I'm a 30 something mum (34 in a matter of days!) and a first time mum... I use to be quite confident and full of life - but now I am also a bit of a recluse.... I enjoy being home with DD and doing all those things - but I know that I've changed...
Could be for the better as I could be quite dominant - but sometimes I wonder if I've changed too much... Also have moved from Brisbane to the gold coast (that was 3-4 years ago) but it's still hard to get to know people down here...

Hope to come in here more often and chat to ladies (and men if you're there) of a similar age with little ones.

Mel

Hi ladies:wave:

I thought I should come on in and introduce myself. I have been on bh for a while now, but like others have said, I too am shy. So here it goes. I am SAHM of 3 beautiful kids. dd1 (13) ds (7) dd2 (4mths). I live in outer Sydney. I am 34 (years young) and we have just moved and I am finding it really hard to make friends too.

I hope to talk to all you lovely ladies soon.

Oh and by the way, yes I am totally addicted to bh too! It is such a great place.:yelclap:
