Ok, I have a strange problem....
Oscar's wees are leaving stain marks on his nappies!!
Initially I thought one of my black fur nappies had run in the bucket, but last night there was no black nappy in the bucket and they still have big greyish marks on them...the marks are exactly where the nappy gets wet with wee!!
They have not washed out..
These are definately NOT poo stains..
And it has only just started happening 2 washing loads ago...
Anyone else had this problem or does DS just have abnormal wee??? :o

i don't know then.
they will probably come out with the sun bleaching them, but apart from that i don't know what you could do to stop it.
what about nappy liners or something?
maybe they will soak up what ever it is causing the stain??

I use microfleece liners on all my nappies...it has gone through the liners though...

I would give the sun a go - or lemon juice and hang in the sun.
Has it happened on all his nappies, or just those ones?
I was at a RNW event on Thurs, and heard that apparently paracetamol can make the wee stain nappies...

Bi carb made into a paste might work?

Hmmmm, yeah bi-carb works wonders on most things....should I just rub it into the stain or chuck it in with the wash??

Why not do both - it won't harm the nappies;)

Ok I will!!
Ive never used bi-carb on my nappies before...its a bit scary...but I know its pretty safe.
WARNING: You may get stained nappies if you give bubba paracetamol
Good luck with getting the stains out...
I gave Mitchell panadol last night, so I'll see how his nappies come out of the wash tomorrow, and let you know.

Yep, that's teething stains!
It comes out eventually - I don't worry about it because you don't see the boosters when they're wearing the nappy :) I find the sun doesn't really help unfortunately, so I just leave it.

Well, it must be panadol that does it... I gave some to Mitch because he wasn't well with a cold the other night... I've just finished washing, and THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED (http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l115/sarahwilson77/panadolbooster.jpg) to the booster he wore for that night. BUMMER!!! :(
