Sleepy time crib light

Hi

Does anyone have a Sleepy time crib light and are they any good? Or are they just a waste of money? If baby is sleeping in the same room as you, does the light and sounds wake you up aswell?

For those who dont know what it is, it is a cot light and when baby cries, the light comes on and it makes womb sounds and is meant to put baby back to sleep in 1 minute by themselves.

I have one of these but never used it in the automatic function. it is handy though being able to turn it on when you need a bit of light at night. Our music is VERY annoying. I was given it as a present so thats why we have one.:)

We got given one too, and there were choices of what sound effect (music, ocean waves sounds and rain? - maybe). It didn't work for DD1 and we didn't need it for DD2 :rolleyes: . DD1 NEVER liked going to sleep alone (so not little light and recorded noise was going to fool her :D ) and DD2 would go to sleep by herself in her cot from day 1 :confused: .

I personally would not buy one, maybe borrow one if your baby isn't an easy sleeper and then you can see whether it does you any good.
