1 yr old insomniac

well here i am, its 3.00 am and instead of being tucked up in bed, i am here in bubhub cause my doughter wont sleep!! atm she is lyeing on my lap trying to get my attention and im trying to ignore her! it wouldnt be so bad if i had gone to bed at a reasonable hr, but i didnt get into bed till 12! she started pretty much straight after i had just drifted off, every time i get her settled and leave the room she starts screaming hysterically again! she is cutting 3 top teeth which probably doesnt help, but i have to be up at 6-7 am, dh is on night shift so he wont be any help and im so very tired :(

Hope she went back to sleep for you and you got a nice little rest.....hopefully you are sleeping now. Not much hope of that when you've got older kids. :o
Hope her little teeth come through really quick and she gets back to normal!!!

I often think (at 3am) that when my little treasure is 17 and all moody, I'll wish I had my little boy back again - sleepless and all.

hey lovely girls, thanks for replying :) just after i posted that she drifted off on my lap so i put her back into bed again, only for her to start yelling, again. so i rang dh just so i didnt feel so alone and he said to put some panadol in her bottle, but she finally fell asleep after i hung up from him. of course she was back in bed at 8.30am and had a lovely 2 hr sleep whilst i had to take coops to playgroup (nathan stayed up till i got home) so now she is all nice and refreshed whilst i just want to collapse!!! :)

lol KB, yes i seem to have misplaced mine as well :) I have a great aunt who reckons she blamed her kids behaviour on their teeth till they were about 14!:D

E, it is a pic of my step daughter Saphron in an outfit my sil made for her, my sil is very creative and makes all her own clothes and some groovy individual stuff for the kids. you should see what she did to a toybox and guitar of theirs, she is very clever :)
