I think I've followed all the directions, but I just don't see how this thing is going to dry without any sunlight. I've had it inside and outside in the shade for most of today and it still feels as damp as after I washed it:banghead: what am I doing wrong?

I'm a bit naughty and finish mine off in the sun :o
All's ok though!! Just me being lazy
We just had between 2 and 3 days of rain and everything was wet for THREE DAYS. NOTHING dried until the sun finally came out and I could move the clothes horses' outside to dry... super frustraing :banghead: My BBB's were starting to smell from being wet for so long!

I here ya about the rain! I'm in Sydney and it's been horrible the last few weeks (for nappies), good for the drought though, so can't complain. I put my BBB's out in the sun today too after they'd been inside for a day:laughing:
So how long does a soaker normally take, without cheating?

thanks Mel. How do you dry it, do you hang it out in the shade or dry it flat? It's the first time I wash it (had a major poo disaster this morning:no: )

well I dry mine flat lying across the clothes horse, and if it's sunny I put the clothes horse outside, if it's raining then inside. It's been raining here too and I found it took nearly 3 days inside to dry
I put mine out in the shade on the clothes horse - dry flat. Depends on the wool. BUt anything from a day or two. Superwash and thicker ply (10- 12 ply) tends to take longer (3 days!)
