I'd really love to be there for a sewing demonstration - any ideas of when they will be happening?

Giveaways? hmmmmm :detective:
Hmmm CK are you in Brisbane? Do you have a subscriber nappy coming to you, cause if you do, I can probably bring it with me - enough of an incentive to come ;)
Ill be going with my Mum she is my personal seemstress so I want her to have a good look at the sewing demos.
Plus the mention of freebies is always a good way to get me out of the house.
Ill be catching the train.

I would catch the train, but being 39 weeks pg, think I would prefer to have the car nearby....

Go up Cordelia St and turn in the driveway for Musgrave Park. There's a big grassed carpark on the left and Jagera Arts Center is right next to it. Follow the nappies :)

We're meant to be couch shopping tomorrow ..... I wonder if DH would believe that there *could* be couches in the Jagera Arts Centre. "You never know darling, we should probably check, just to be sure.... oh, who would have guessed? It's a nappy display! No, really, no-one could be more surprised than I am".
Somehow I don't like my chances :p

Don't jinx it.. just cos I lost my plug this afternoon doesn't mean she'll necessarily come soon.. :p I'm taking the "not getting my hopes up" route, is it obvious? ;)

Ooh I 've just noticed that Lil B, is a day younger than Baby K. See all you ladies today.
I am going - about time I saw some new nappies - haven't bought any for a couple of months and surely it is time!
See you all there!

I just wanted to thank every one for a great morning:yelclap:
It was great - got to see a sewing demonstration from both Donna and Lesley, and it's given me the confidence I needed to tackle the materials I have here.
It was great to see so many different types of nappies that I've always wanted to try, but was not too sure about, so my list of things to buy now is even longer:eek:
Thank you to all who organised it - even DH left saying he learnt something:thumbsup:
shame I couldnt make it, would have been good to have a look at the different nappies. Are there any shops where you can look at them? or are they only available online?

It was a great morning! Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to everyone - B was REALLY overtired and started chucking a tanty...poor little possum
And, can I just say :smiliedance: for the lucky door prize (I got a BBH pack - 1 x purple bamboo bbh and a pul wrap) It's exactly what I've been wanting to try out!!!
Also, Bec (Isaac's Mummy) is your son the 'big' six month old in the Moby Wrap???

Was that you - you lucky girl!
Did you have any luck with the door prize Amanda?:)
It was a lovely day. We are all exhausted here, a big thank you to all the volunteers. Hope you all eyed off the ANN shirts to help promote cloth :) William ran himself ragged, and Baby K was a little doll as always, though she's cranky tonight with her teeth, poor poppet.
Hope you all enjoyed your lucky door prizes, I'm pretty sure a few hubbers, walked away with some .

Yes indeedy - that was me and my boy! I thought that gorgeous hair your DD had was familiar - now I know where I've seen her before!!
And :smiliedance: for your prize. Congratulations. I won nothing either OM - maybe next year:fingerscrossed:
Lesley - are the ANN shirts still available? They looked great.

lol Bec! It's great to be able to put a face to the name :D
Thanks to all the volunteers, we had a lovely morning!:D
Nope:crying: But 4 other bubhubbers won something.
You need to check in with the person you left your door tickets with - you might find that she is holding a little special something for you!!
And yes - thanks to the volunteers - it was great to see lots of different nappies - now I just need to get shopping!!
Lesley - are the ANN shirts still available? They looked great.
We have a couple still here for adults, and quite a few little ones, they'll be going up on OZeBaby soon. If you need a different size just send Shane an email, and he'll put you on the list.
Just curious... I went to the RNW show and got a door number but I had to leave as I had my kids and DF in the car...Do I just luck out and didn't win or can i check with someone to see if i won something?
The 'rules' on the door said that you needed to be there with your ticket to collect your prize. If the person wasn't there, then the numbers were redrawn.
