A clean, damp face washer/flannel is supposed to be great for them to chew on as it is rough but soft.
All of my babies seemed like they were teething at 2 months, I think it was the beginning, but the teeth didn't cut through until months later.
Most babies like to chew on things from an early age, but it can last for months until they are "technically" teething.
There are soft teething toys, rings that you can put in the fridge, or as 3spunkyboys said just a plain old flannel.
Celery sticks put in the freezer are fantastic for teething. The cold numbs the gums, and the celery doesn't break off into little bits as it's so stringy.
my friend little girl got her first tooth at 8wks, 2nd at 10wks and no more yet (she's 7mnths now) so it's entirely possible that she is teething already.. I agree with the damp face washer suggestion, you can even wet it and put it in the fridge/freezer for a few minutes to make it nice and cold.
