I've just checked the thread about locations ... please tell me I'm not the only mid-20s Mum in Adelaide! I find that really hard to believe!
I'd love to talk to any Adelaide mums in their 20s ... particularly single mums!

Soooo ...
Now that there's a handful of us, are any of you girls SAHMs? Or even part-time workers?
I'm a single SAHM, and at the moment it's really bothering me that I'm 25 and spending every day and night at home. None of my friends have babies, and while they make an attempt to include me, it normally involves them coming over to my place or short lunch trips into town. I kinda feel like I'm watching my life go by while I wait for my son to grow up (he's seven months at the moment).
I was hoping to get a group of Adelaide Mums together to do something other than meeting for lunches and gossip ... I'm thinking something like dance lessons, yoga ... something along those lines? I was thinking that if we had enough of us, we could approach an instructor about getting 'private' lessons for us so that it'd be more kid-friendly ... either creche-style, or if we took the kids along and each week one of us sat out to look after the kids?
Anyone interested? I guess it'd depend on what days people are available and times ... frankly I'd be willing to go try pole dancing if that's what other people wanted to do (er, maybe ..)! I just want to get out and do something that's not a one-hour-lunch-and-bye-bye!

She Rambles - great idea about doing somethign other than eating and gossiping (not that there's anything wrong with that!!). I'm definately interested in something like yoga or whatever (not that I am either flexible or athletic!)
I'm 28 and at Redwood Park (north eastern) and my daughter is almost 12 weeks. A few of my besties have babies all under 11 months, and we'd love to extend our friendship circles.
Who wants to be in charge of organising something?
I'm a SAHM at the moment, my amternity leave doesn't finish until August, and I'm hopefully adding another year on to it

:iagree::iagree: Im her bestie  and would love to meet up.
We are having a gathering of some mums off BubHub on the 10th Jan at a Maccas in the Northern suburbs if you are interested. PM me if you or anyone else would like the details.
I'm 24 and from the North West (Largs North).
I'm not a single mum but I might as well be  DP is at work so much I can barely remember what he looks like.
What would happen with all the kids if everyone did something that's not lunch / gossip related?

hi,
my name's Stacey, I'm 24 and I live with my husband in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide.
My little girl, Capri is a month old, born 4th Jan.:baby:
I'm currently on maternity leave and all of my friends work, none have kids either, so I would love to meet other new mums, it DOES get boring hanging around the house all day.
Look forward to getting to know you all!

Hello guys,
I have a 14wk old boy who I adore but being a SAHM can be a bit boring when the little one is sleeping and the house work really isn't inspiring me. Having a chat with some other young mums would I think somehow keep me going on the difficult days
