How long did it take before Bubs started responding?

I am doing this. U should add a poll hun.

I just do the basic signs. - eat, drink, no, more, mum, dad, nappy change. Will start animal signs soon.

She started responding about a month ago whe she was 7 mths. But not after every prompt. she just does it when it suits her. I think the benefit for me is I see she understands receptively and becomes calmer when i tell her i am getting her a drink (do the gesture).

my friend did it. we were talking of it the other day.
i think she said her daughter was 6 months. when started and responded to it.
started doing thank you without being told to

i have a friend in UK that done it with her dd.
i think she said that she started to respond about 7mths as well (she started to do the signing while she spoke to her as a baby im pretty sure) she did the same with her oldest dd as well (now 7yrs old)

her sign list is huge and she is now 2yrs old and can sign in proper sentences, has been able to for about 6mths if not longer :thumbsup: the other awesome thing is though, her speach is so good now too, i thought it might have prolonged her speach, but shes a mighty chatter box :D
