Mini Pill and Periods

I have been on the mini pill now for just over two weeks and have just got my period?

I was under the impression I wouldn't have a period at all?

Anything to be concerned about?

I think it really just comes down to the individuals body! I've been on the mini pill for 10months and havent had a period but before I got pregnant I only ever got my period for a day anyway.
Its nothing to be concerned about! At least u'll no if u get pregnant again!!

I thought that with the mini pill you still got periods, but they were not regulated like on the combined pill????

I remember deciding to go on the combined when I was first looking at contraception as I didn't like the unpredicatbility of the mini pill period-wise. Mind you, I guess it is the safest choice when b/f though (besides barrier methods etc).

im on the mini pill & still get my period though it varies from 28 to 36 days - just make sure you keep taking at the same time everyday cause i didn't & now have a 1 year old daughter!
