i am going back to work in 3 mths and my dd will be 8mths old. she is currently exclusiely bf and all' well. i do a job that involes me being exposed to a wide range of harmful chemicals including benzene, nonene, diesel, etc, mainly aromatic hydrocabons. i hae read that pesticides can be absorbed into breastmilk, is this the same for these sorts of chemicals? if i must,i'll stop bf at 7mths so i hav a bit of time to transition dd onto formula and the bottle, but am not sure what to do?? but i eally enjoy bf and am a bit sad to hae to give it up. is it normal to feel this way about bf, i never thought i'd be someone who was so attached to bf.
