Hi - I'm new to bub hub - I just came across this site tonight and thought that I'd join up :)

I'm Roxy - mum to 3 children - Gabryell (7 who's going into year 3), Kiara (5 who is starting full time preprimary in 2006) and Sebastian (19 months, who gets to stay home with me).

We all (hubby, Kids, 2 cats and I) live SOR in Maddington.
I'm currently studying part time at ECU doing a grad dip in Education (teaching k-3).

I hope to get to know you all better soon :)

Roxy

Hi Guys
Thanks for the warm welcome :)

We are housebound today (the joys of sharing the car with hubby) so we aren't up to much at all. The big kids are playing on their computers and Sebastian is carting toys and miscellanious stuff around the house as only toddlers can do :D

Hi Roxy, Im a perth mum too!

Come and join our WA chat... we had a meet up the other day, (and there were quite a few who couldnt make it, so dont think we all know each other!!) and there are quite a few of us!!

My 15 month old is watching Playschool atm, giving me half a second to go bubhubbing, so if I dont reply, will return at nap time!!

Welcome to Bubhub and talk soon!

Nikki

Welcome.

I am in SafetyBay atm, but we're looking at moving to Port Kennedy when we find a suitable house there, to be a little closer to DH's work. I know its only like 5-10mins drive difference thou

I used to live in Maddington (well for 18 months), going back um.. 12 years now.

Welcome Roxie

I am from SOR too, living in Bull Creek at the mo. I was working in Maddo for a while but now work NOR and from home.
I hope you enjoy the Hub.
Hopefully we will get a meet up after Christmas some time, normally someone will start a new thread with meet up details, like the last one under FREO MEET UP.
So when we decide on dates and location we can all meet up again. It was really nice.
How is everyone coping with School Holidays???

Take care
x

Hi Rhoxie

I only joined Bubhub a little while ago myself; I'm finding it a very friendly place :) . I live in Port Kennedy (lots of us seem to actually!) and have a 10 and half month old son, Cameron, who is the centre of my universe (at the moment, anyway :p )

Look forward to chatting with you!

Wow there are quite a few perthites :)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes

We've lived in Maddington for a while now and although it's got a 'suburb that time forgot' sort of feel to it - and it's definately not new or trendy LOL I actually like living here -- I've got a nice quiet street, huge block, low mortgage, fresh eggs and the best bit - Fantastic neighbours LOL :) plus if I choose to nick down the local shops in track pants I fit right in ;)

haha, gotta love track pants!

Thats one thing about living in Subi, cant do anything without looking dressed up to the nines, or looking fashionably boho. fraid the trackies dont make it. one day my luck will change and they will be fashionable!!

I worked in Maddington for years, During uni at Lonestar and then at the RAC...

Did you do the line dancing at lone starr ? :) Its gone now sadly -- it closed a while back but the building is still there although I think it's empty now.

Yeah, I was one of them!

Yeah they all closed down, then Zorros went up in the same building, then that closed down, and now they are doing something else with them, well the Belmont one at least... we'll have to wait and see!
