:smiliedance:ooooo I am sooooo excited.:smiliedance:
I just got my first Green kids mcn in the mail this morning - in the wash now so i can use them asap.:yelclap:
The nappies are for DD and she is 6mths. She wets at the front alot(sleeps on her belly). What is another mcn that i can get a trial pack for and be happy with? I like the nappies that go from baby to toddler - better for money in my case as i can use some for ds#2 aswell.I know you can all help out cos you are all experts.
I think i will need about 18? Does that sound right? Or do u think more?
Just out of curiousity what do i do in winter when i want to show off that cute butt but pants cover it?

:smiliedance: Yay for Fluffy mail!!

Do you want to stick to pockets or start venturing out a little ? Bamboo baby Beehinds (fitteds) are fantastic that do need a cover. Woolen longies (a wool cover) are the best for the upcoming winter chill and you can get some gorgeous looking longies with embellishments and hand dyed wool.

Maybe purchase a few different trial packs and see what works best for you.

If you still want bub to roam around and show off the nappy, then i highly recommend ********* or babylegs (google them) which come as a one size fits all.

All the best!

I would definately try a Baby Beehinds, they are OSFA and one of the most popular nappies around. They are popular because they are fantastic. They are fitted so will require a cover, great night nappy, but excellent for day aswell

I prefer and recommend fitteds and wool covers. They are definitely worth trying.

Well done on the first mcn -hope you show us a pic :)

I am just starting out too, my bub is 5 months and my big boy is 2 and I have noticed that with most brands the weight range and measurements for sized nappies are teh saem for both od them. I have medium sized pea pods, for example that fit both boys. So, that is something to look at too. I have just ordered a 3 pack of Haute one size pocket nappies - I got them from Darlings Downunder. They are good value as they come with inserts too.

I like my bumgenuis, they are great. I like them better than the GK but every bub is different.

i am about to try a fitted babybeehind for the first time. been using pockets for about a month (love them) but time to try something new.

We haven't used a disposable in about 7 months (we converted to cloth in July last year). We use cloth full time even on holidays. Its easier for me than taking the rubbish out! I don't think its much work. I don't use disposable clothing to save on washing or cutlery (though that is tempting) so to me it now seems right and 'normal' to me to use cloth full time.

Yippeee for fluffy mail! :smiliedance:

Mitch is in cloth full time - though he was in sposies when we went on holidays at the start of Feb.... and I'm glad, because the washing machine at the place was ancient, and we didn't even hardly know how to use it!

As the others have said, try a BBH trial pack... I got mine from Darlings Downunder. :D

Very possible - once the initial purchase is made - even clicking the button to put it in your cart - the obsession is born!!!

Yay!! A new clothie addict is always good :smiliedance: :yelclap:
Yep, I agree with the others about Baby Beehinds, but just go straight for the beautiful BAMBOO!!

Another gorgeous, silky-soft one-size fitted: CUTE TOOSHIES BAMBOO DELIGHT. These are sensational! Trimmer then a BBH, but all-over bamboo velour.. diiivinnnee!

Grap a pul or wool cover/soaker and you're done! Remember, quality fitted nappy is only as good as the cover you use over it (IMO anyway)... there are some great, breathable, waterproof pul covers and gorgeous woolen hand-knits out there!

Yep, we're all weird here :p ;)
