Heehee!!

As most of you know, I express at work.. WELL...

I was going great for the first 4 weeks, expressing way more than required :yelclap:
Then I got sick :( and my supply hit a major dip, Cobey drinks 320mL during the day and I was lucky to express 100mL on top of feeding him. I was a sad mummy. :gloomy:
I started taking fenugreek three times a day, as well as eating oats for lunch (the girls at work wonder why I eat breakfast for lunch...) and I was able to express just enough to get through the days (320mL to the letter, actually) and so I added one more pumping session after the boy went to bed..

WELL... today I sat down to express and in ONE SITTING I got 230mL!!!!!!!!! :D And then I expressed again - 170mL !!!! WOOOHOOO!!

Go my boobs!

So yes, a thread is celebration of my boobs, not -quite- back to their normal selves (I was expressing 400mL in 2 sessions previously) but certainly well up there!!!

Wait a second. Me Stupid at maths - I just realised that that WAS 400mL in 2 session!!!! GO BOOBS!

When I woke up this morning I didn't think I'd be doing a happy dance for someone's boobs, but here goes Nikki...

You're doing so well to be working and still breastfeeding, especially considering you've been sick. Well done!

Omg good on you!!
Got any tips for me? The most I've ever gotten in one sitting is 60mls :(
I'm on fenugreek too, but it doesn't seem to be helping me. Maybe ill try the oats!

fenugreek, oats, lactation boosting cookies (recipe in the BF section), brewers yeast...

I find that if I'm not getting enough I hand express one side while pumping the other and that brings on letdown
