Hi everyone,
My 12 month old dd had her immunisation needles on the 10th of march. She has been in hospital this past week after not eating or drinking much of anything. Her temp went up to 38.4. They said we would have to take her back in today if she still had a fever. Well as of this morning the fever has gone :smiliedance:
but I have just noticed a rash come up on her left thigh. It is raised and clustered. It is on the front of her left thigh and the back just under where her nappy stops the size of the cluster is about the size of two 50 cent pieces sitting next to each other. There is one spot on her tummy and two spots on her right cheek on her face. When we were in hospital they said the main cause of her not drinking/eating/temp/lethargy/not her self ness ( ) would more than likely be a reaction to her needles and that a reaction can occur between 5-14 days after but most likely between days 7-9 which was when we were there.
I now dont know whether to take DD to the doctor about the rash or write it off as a reaction to the needles? she is her normal happy self now isnt lethargic no temp just the rash has just come up.
I dont know what to do :gloomy:
