anyone getting jolts into their rib? My baby is constantly moving any crashing into just under my rib...I thought the "quickening" would be much less obvious! I thought like colly wobbles...but these are clearly like i swallowed something live and its moving to get out!

Also my baby seems to only ever be on my left side....

anyone else got this stuff happening?

Yep mine is kicking heaps too. Not feeling it as high as my ribs, but definitely feeling it. Feels like there's not enough space in there and it's trying to stretch out! For me it's mostly on my right side, sometimes in the middle low down too. It's a weird but great feeling.

Mine is kicking heaps too, but mine is much lower down - always below my belly button, although its getting higher as the weeks go on.

sorry to butt in, I have seen this thread heaps, and everytime I have been wondering what it was. I thought it was about actual chicken kickers, those things from dominos:o its made me hungry:o

My movements are lower too. Under my belly button. Last time, I'm sure that I didn't get them up under my ribs until MUCH later. It depends how far along you are.

I'm 19 weeks, and at my u/s the other day I was told he/she's only 20cm. And I can feel the top of my uterus just under my belly button.

At this stage, I'd personally think that pain in my ribs was heart burn.

When i was 14/15 weeks it felt like something tapping me for the inside.Now it feels like a fish Flipping around, i am 21 weeks and feel it 2 inches above my bellybutton, but luckly not at my ribs yet! Iam short and there isnt much room for a baby, and iam stressing about the months to come.
