Does anyone know of any free or cheap counselling services in Perth NOR. I have a friend who needs it but can't afford it?

I know a lady, that is GREAT GREAT GREAT!!!

But she doesn't see anyone that is over 21.

Otherwise, i'm sure a local centrecare, or salvation army, can arrange, something cheap or free!

Try Social Worker at Centrelink - they will be able to refer her on.

You get 12 sessions a year free (via medicare) with a psychologist. You just need a referal from a GP. You don't have to tell the GP what it's about.

Most psychologists are rebatable under medicare - at least $75 an hour and up to $110 an hour. There is usually a gap fee - and that depends entirely on the psychologist to determine how much the gap fee is going to be. All you need is a GP's referral, and you can access up to 18 sessions in a 12 month period, in 6 session blocks.
