My name is Jenny - I'm 33 (sigh) and I live just a little south of Brisbane, with a computer addicted husband and two gifted, gorgeous, amazing (you get the idea) sons - one who is five years old (eep) and a youngin who has just turned three. I adore bubhub - have basically since just after the forum started - when I am not hubbing - I spend time on facebook, scrapbook, read and generally slouch on the couch .. (when not at work!).

My earliest memory is.... hmm walking along the old trainlines near Dalby - with my Dad (walking to the store to get the paper) and picking the little purple wildflowers for my mum.

I wish I had.... I bigger house so that I could open my doors to more needy people and especially needy children.

My happiest memory is.... Jacks first real giggle - bless that jolly jumper

My most humiliating moment was.. oh heck .. ok .. it was (I blame the epidural) passing wind while my gorgeous OB was completing an internal exam .. sigh.

My last meal would be.... medium rump steak with mushroom sauce, served with avocado and REALLY nice roast vegetables. There would be a side serve of mushy hot chips with extra seasoning- and for dessert - fresh mango and ice cream. I think I would also insist on an entree - something with puff pastry (loove puffy pastry).

When I was a child I wanted to.... eat a whole can of condensed milk (it was one of the first things I did when I moved out .. it was really yummy .. but I got a headache)

It's not fashionable but I love.... getting my biscuits, putting them IN a glass of milk - smashing it all around and then eating it with a spoon.

The last big belly laugh I had was.... wrestling on the floor with my sons and husband- quality family time should ALWAYS involve giggles.

If I were a car I'd be..... definately messy, unwashed, but dependable and much loved by its owner.

If I wasn't me I'd like to be- oooh someone with superpowers (I'm quite jealous of Harry Potter )

xx

hi  I'm Jenny - 33 years old - proud mumma of two stunning children.

Are you married, partnered or single?
I'm married - to a big toddler .. who loves 'wow' and frustrates me to bits (but I do love him)
What sort of birth did you have?
two c-sections - first emergency, second by choice after assessing the risks (each to their own).
Preferred parenting style?
I tend to go with the flow - I am passionate about gorgeous MCN - but then I also used sposies when we had family trips away. I loved breastfeeding with Alex - but hated it with Jack, so have done both bottle and breast. We DONT co sleep (DH takes up 80% of the bed - so I cant share the 20% with children)- I try to be firm with the boys, but feel that smacking should be the last resort. I dont circ my boys (but before they arrived I would have said yes.... then I deemed them too precious and refused). I think that covers most bases?
Do you have brothers and sisters?
One brother that I hated growing up- love now
Are they older or younger than you?
five years younger (which is why I have a small gap between my two... my brother and I had little in common growing up)
Have you ever met a famous person?
yes .. lots of sporting personalities including the entire Lions football team (they used to eat at the cafe I worked in) Mal Meninga, Ian Healy, Billy Moore, oh and Ranger Stacey from totally wild (I used to make her coffee)
What countries have you visited?
australia - I prefer to travel locally and I want to explore this country first.
What do you do on Sundays?
I would say sleep - but that doesn't happen unless its scheduled with hubby. Occasionally we make it to church, otherwise we just potter around the house, or head out for a brunch with friends.
What kind of people do you not like?
(high maintenance). I LOATHE high maintenance friendships- I simply dont have any. Friendship should be fun, and there shouldn't be pressure to catch up with each other.
(confrontation)- I hate people who enjoy conflict. I am very strong in personality, but I dont like fights or having other peoples opinions thrown at me.
Who has had the most influence in your life?
Easily my mum (who didn't parent or birth the way I have, but still gives me wonderful sensible advice).
Would you like to be famous?
No - but I would like to be rich. I would like the money and the benefits of it, without the publicity.
How many different towns or cities have you lived in?
I've always lived in Brisbane, but I've moved from north to south, to north and now live in the south. I like both.
Which do you prefer, sunrises or sunsets?
(note- it depends if a child woke me, or if I woke by choice, but) definitely sunrises. I love the clean fresh air of a morning, and love the peace and quiet before the masses of society awake.
What was the last book you read?
Jonathan Kellerman (cant remember which one) - I love easy read crime novels (Janet Evanavich is another favourite)
What's your favorite food?
oh gosh. top five? mango, ice cream, chocolate, hot chips, milk.
Do you live in a house or an apartment/flat or other?
house (we own the toilet, the bank still owns the rest)
How tall are you?
5/7 (171cm)
What are your hobbies?
scrapbooking, reading, puzzles
What's something you do well?
My job ??? I look after children who have impairments. I love kids with special needs, especially those with autism, or children with multiple impairments who are really high support needs.
Which sports do you like to watch/play?
play??? exercise will kill you (do you KNOW how many people die when running??? :p) I watch some afl (lions) and the big events (any sport finals or olympics etc)
Are you a 'morning' or 'night' person?
used to be a morning, but hubby is a night person, so I'm often up late.
What is your motto?
If you dont like it, too bad. (thats the best I can think of) I used to worry lots about what people thought, but now that I'm 30+ I dont really care :p yes I'm loud, yes I'm opinionated - if you dont like me, thats fine- but I now know I cant change who I am.
