I know its been done 100 times but Im REALLY struggling with my wedding music.
I have my aisle,register and bridal waltz songs but Im stuck with the other ones.
I want nice songs but something a bit funky.
Heeeeeeelllllllllllllllpppppppp!!!

are you meaning songs to dance to? or songs for before the wedding and after the wedding?

I find that if you choose music from the 70's 80's till now work well, if you have them all spread out

for while the guests are waiting for you something melo and relaxing is good,

for the music on my dvd i had a few songs

3.Hero ( Mariah Carey)
4.Wind beneath my wings ( Celine dion)

For the cutting of the cake i had:

and for the entrance it to the reception i had the bridal song here comes the bride i can't remember who it was by though sorry :( it's not the one when u walk down the asile though lol.

At Last by Etta James would be on my list.

Even "Dream a Little Dream," by... well... whichever version you like the best (Mamas and the Papas, Ella Fitzgerald etc...).

Old Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) also sings some lovely songs. He'd be on my album.

Or I'd pick up a copy of the Love Actually version of "All you need is Love."

(I prefer older songs... they seem less lame).

I just got married yesterday! Anyway for entrance into the reception we had 'Everytime I see your face' by Live and our cake cutting song was a spanish song that DH picked (he is south American). We didn't have a leaving song, we didn't do the boquet/garter thing either (not a formal wedding).
We walked down the aisle to 'My Best Friend' by Queen. We walked down together with our DD.

my dp is a DJ and no doubt *if he EVER proposes* the only thing we'll fight over will be the music..

but my must haves are

"heart of life" - john mayer (where the line in my sig comes from) beautiful, beautiful lyrics that remind me of DP.

"i'll be" - edward mccain.

and as daggy as it may sound "Jackson"- from the walk the line soundtrack. walk the line being the movie we saw on one of our first dates.. aww. :kiss:
