hi everyone:wave: I know there is a huge TF thread somewhere around here, but I just was after some feedback on TF.
how long will it take for ketosis to start?
how much weight did you lose in the first week?
how much exercise do you do?
I am just starting to get headaches, is this normal? I have upped my water intake considerably.
does it affect your toilet habits in any way?
I know I can look on the website, but I want honest views, not whatever makes them look good KWIM?
I am really only on day three, as I ran out of shakes:o and was a bit half @ssed about it. I am now raring to go.
any other info at all would be great

My mum started it last week and she has stopped already as she was getting super hideous headaches, feeling sick and hungry all the time. It didnt effect her bowel habits but she was forever having to wee. She is a huge water drinker anyways.
I dont think it suits all people.:no:
Hi I have done TF for about 8-9 weeks and I personally think its amazing..I have lost 12 kgs so far and my hubby has lost 20 kgs.
how long will it take for ketosis to start?

---I lost 2.5 kgs and my hubby lost 4 kgs.

---No excercise....But lately I have started 30 mins on treadmill. It is good for metabolism

---Headaches are normal. We both had it I took panadol it was so bad. around 3rd day it was better..

Make sure you take fibre and multivitamin everyday.

I would say its too early to give up just give yourself a week and you'll be amazed to see the results.

I was on it for 3 full days... and then gave up because I was starving AND feeling terrible.
Ketosis, if I can remember correctly, began on the 2nd day. That was annoying, because it meant that if you cheated (had a tiny bit of potato/corn/sugar etc), you had to wait another 2 days before any of your good work would pay off. Sucky.
I had bad headaches too, and REALLY bad wind pain. I had to lay in the foetal position and whince... it was HORRIBLE!
You shouldn't need to do exercise, but obviously, it would help.
If you aren't taking fibre, you could very easily become constipated.

For me it started on about day 3. I got a small headache which went away with some panodol

I started doing none. I did end up walking 4-5times a week but that was all

Yeah it is totally normal. Its a hard stage to get thru but once it passes you'll feel so much better

It didnt affect mine however other have found they got constipated. Taking the fibre (which I will warn u is GROSS) will help.
I lost 24kg in 3.5months and kept it off. I think its a great programme but it isnt for everyone.

I'm in my second week of it. I think the ketosis kicked in about day three. The first few days were pretty crappy- head aches, tiredness etc but I lost 3 kg in the first week and it has defiantely gotten easier as time goes on. I would suggest the fibre too. Oh and I've done no exercise apart from one tap dance class.
