Hi everyone
I just want to get an idea of how many of you used Pampers nappies? And do you miss them?

I really cant seem to find a nappy I am happy with over here. Huggies just leak! Full Stop!!
I tried Snugglers but they are rubbish... dont fit my boy and need to change more often.
Tried a few others with no luck and plenty of mess! :barf: Lets just say my boy was painting with poo one morning!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else wished they were sold here? Would you buy them on ebay if you could?

I am from the UK but never had children over there so have no experience of Pampers.

I have never had a problem with Huggies leaking and my boys wee heaps! Huggies are by far the best nappies over here.

For daytime/cheaper nappies - Aldi do good ones.

I used pampers with DS1 and they were the best:thumbsup:

Have you tried You'll love Coles Nappies? I find them pretty good

I just assumed the whole world stocked pampers!!The best.

Huggies are ok for Amelia but she can undo them easy when left to fiddle with tabs and the size is quite big that I buy...to hold it all in! Infact after her first solids this week ...poo was bit different today! If you know what I mean.

Ace episode Emmerdale by the way

I have worked with children for the last 19 years as a nanny and in day care centres and I have always preferred Pampers I am a nanny at the moment and dont like Huggies or any of the other nappies that the family buy.

I used them for my nephews and niece and yes, they were great!

Huggies work well for me, though - no leaks or issues of any kind so far. I second Carrotcake in the You'll Love Coles recommendation. They were pretty good ... admittedly, though, I was too chicken to try them overnight or when I knew there was a poo on the offing.

I would certainly try them if they were sold here but unless they were cheaper than the Huggies, I wouldn't change over to them.

they are pretty cheap, i dont really know how many are in the pack but i get them in the packet size huggies has (not the box) and there are alot in their and they are $10, but i use aldi most of the time. pampers are for when i run out and aldi is shut

I agree, pampers are far better than Huggies, they seem to 'old' themselves together more!

I have used Nature Nappies for my younger two which you could get in Boots or Waitrose. They are the slightly more environmentally friendly ones as they biodegrade. Fortunately a couple of months after we arrived here Coles started doing them, but they are always sold out - grr and stupidly yhey don;t do the biodegradeable Nature wipes that go with but Woolworths does!!! and Neither store do the Nature biodgradeable nappy sacs grrrr

If you can get these I find them much nicer than huggies, the only disadvatage is they are quite wide in the crutch initially but my little one doesn't seem to perturbed by this.

Not as good as pampers mind!

I emailed Alison (Treats from Home woman) and asked about them... She said she could get them - would cost about $25 for 34... DH said I must be joking! So thats the end of that

Hiya

I used Nature with my DD in the UK and with DS here. By far the best. Now DD is older and only has nappies at night, I use You'll Love COles for her.

Oh Yes, I miss the Pampers Nappies as well :crying:
They were by far the best.
After we moved here, I went through basically every Nappy brand, from Snugglers to Baby Love to Lullaby and the home brand ones from Coles an Wooli but nothing, nothing was near the Pampers quality.
My older one was always wet and I used twice as many nappies as I used to and he also got more rashes.

Then I tried the Aldi Nappies and was amazed how good they were. Still nowhere near the Pampers Quality but for me, they worked well.

(not that I'm an English mother, just wanted to leave my opinion about the nappies here..
:o)

Hi.

I get them at any local Coles, not Woolies. I used to used SNugglers for ages with DD before I found that Coles own were quite good, before they stocked Nature that is.

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know that I have discovered that they are selling Pampers nappies at Coles Vic Gardens.
I tried to buy them at Glenferrie but they did not have them so I called Coles head office and they said it is a trial in only 10 stores -
Vic Gardens
Chaddie
Berwick
Ballarat
Altona Meadows
Moonee Ponds
Williamstown
Rowville
South Morang
Keilor Downs
Spread the word. I am currently stocking up for when the new baby is born - I don't want to risk not being able to get them in May !!
