I remembered reading in some other posts that you can get micrifibre cloth from the cleaning section in supermarkets, so went looking at K-mart the other day (I always forget when at the supermarket). In the carwash aisle they had a heap of different cloths that all said they were microfibre - but they all looked differently. they claimed to be 100% microfibre. One was for cleaning glasses, another for polishing cars (really chunky) and another for washing that said super absorbant (although most said this) it was blue with little square thingys on it, and uf i cut it in hals, each half would prob be a good fit for a GK.

Does it make a difference which type? Or is there a particular brand to look out for. I also noticeed the chamious there and wondered if they would work OK as a booster between a hemp hourglass, or if the material was too harsh?

I just got the thin square ones and fold them in three. I've found there are bigger ones which do the job better in the car / boat aisle rather than some of the cleaning ones which I've found to be a bit smaller.
