Low sperm count

Hi Girls,

Im asking this question on behalf of a girlfriend of mine. Her and DH have just found out he has a low sperm count and i just want to give her some tips and hints and maybe some good news stories.

What treatments are available? Has anyone got a natrual BFP despite a low sperm count? Any info or advice would be great! Thanks girls!!

im not too sure what to say other than ive heard zinc helps men with there little boys...maybe get him to try that?!?! i know its help'd my DP's little boys!! its only been on it for about 6 weeks aswell not BFP just yet tho

Hi Pippi,

I would recommend to your girlfriend to get her DH to try accupunture.

My DH has poor morphology (quality) and he had 5 treatments of accupunture in October 07 and we fell pregnant (the next month) in November 07 after previously ttc for approx 1 year.

Also get him to take zinc suppliments, multi vitamin and vitamin C.

My DH has the same problem. I would recommend acupunture and zinc tablets. If they are still having trouble after trying for a while I would recommend seeing a fertility specialist. Although there is still a chance they can conceive naturally. :)
