Hi all,
I am nearing the completion of the theoretical component of my doula training with Optimum Birth and gearing up for the practical component of attending births required for certification.... I have thoroughly enjoyed the study I have completed so far, and love the passion that has grown in me for childbirth....
As a trainee, I am more than happy to offer my services for free....I would also be keen to accompany any other doulas to births should the opportunity arise, I believe the insight they have to offer would be incredibly helpful....
I, myself, am a single mum to one beautiful little baby girl... I experienced her birth by c-section in August 2006.... I wish I had known about doulas back then....
My aim is to help women acheive the best possible birth experience.... and enjoy this miraculous time in their life....
