Love n Care basinette question

I bought this Love n Care bassinette for DS http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d31/soul6/basgbearcream_psd.jpg and you can actually move the basinette about 10-15cm from side to side without moving the stand. And when Ds makes a sudden move I'm worried it might tip over.

does anyone else who has one move?

I have a bassinette which looks the same structure as yours. My DD is over 5 months old and still using it. It has never tipped over and i dont think it possibly could unless the baby can sit or stand in it.

can you disable the swinging feature?

Mine dosen't have the swinging feature.

I had one for DS2, and it moved, it was sturdy and stuck on fine though, your's is attached to the stand isn't it, they aren't ment to be used when babies start getting mobile so you shouldn't have any problems with it tipping

can you disable the swinging feature?
it doesn't have a swinging feature it just moves so much it's like you can rock the baby asleep.I'm not sure how else to explain it.

We have the same one..well, different color but same basic bassinet...I used it for DD til she was 6mths old. She was rolling over and getting up onto her hands & knees before I moved her to the cot, I moved her when I was woken up by her talking and when I opened my eyes I saw her little hand holding the side and her smiling at me over the top. Never had any problems with it being unstable tho, didn't come close to tipping over.
