HCG Levels

Does any of you know your HCG levels?

As some of you know i have had a early scare, not fully out of the woods yets, will know more Wedneday.

I had a blood test done on Saturday and just got the results today.

My level is 2100, he thinks i am only 5 to 6 weeks.

hey hun, i dont know mine personally but i just found this website CLICK (http://www.birth.com.au/class.asp?class=6620&page=8) now just before you look at it it is a website about miscarriage but it has the tables of the HCG levels for each week of pregnancy

I have had 2 done. I am 6 weeks today. My levels are right for the day as I had ivf and know exactly when I conceived (in a dish of course :laughing: ). Hope this helps. At 15dpo, my levels were 269, 6 days later at 21dpo they were 6562.

I had a five day old embryo transferred which was at blasto stage, meaning ready to implant. My first bt was taken 10 days after transfer.

Maybe your embie implanted late so the levels didnt start going up till later. I know that the levels vary greatly for each person. Good Luck:fingerscrossed: .

well i go for another blood test tomorrow to see if my levels have raisen... :fingerscrossed: they have.

Will get the results on Thursday, another day of uncertainty if little nutmeg is still there.. :crying:

mummyof2, I hope you find your levels have risen heaps and little nutmeg is here to stay. Good luck with the bt. The waiting is the absolute hardest thing to do. :yes:

Mummy of 2, I am anxious to hear that everything is ok....... please let us know when you can.:hugs: Im sure its all fine as the levels are only averages and plenty of pregnancies that were low have resulted in healthy babies. Stay positive, i really believe that positive thoughts make good things happen.

Well yy levels were 3050 on Friday, at 18DPO by the doctors calculation and 20DPO by my calculation, so its looking nice and strong this time :fingerscrossed: .

still havent heard anything yet. Will get the results tomorrow morning.

Still haven't had any more pains. And i'm still not bleeding. so hopefully that is a good sign

mummyof2. I hate how they make you wait for things. Having no cramps is a great sign though. Have plenty of rest (hard with 2 little girls I'm sure) and tomorrow will bring good news.

4tiggers - Did you get a BFP with a blood test or home test?

Just looking at your dates, i don't think i would be due on the 2nd. Because when i had a blood test on the 18th it was neg, and then i had a blood test on the 28th Feb and that was when it was confirmed. So i might only just be 6 weeks this week. Thats why they couldn't see anything with the ultrasound except for the sac.

Mummyof2. I had my first bt on the 27th of Feb (2 days prior I got a positive on a hpt). I was 4 weeks and 1 day for the bt. I had a scan yesterday which showed a heartbeat and I was 6 weeks 2 days. You might be due closer to the 6th which is why only your 2nd bt came up positive. The first one was done to early. Do you know what your hcg level was on the bt of the 28th of Feb? I hope you get some answers soon?

dont know if this is normal, a little anxious cause of a previous miscarriage... do you know if having a 300hcg is ok for 4 w and a bit?? im soooo worried, cause i had a very small cramp in my left ovary..... i am booked in for a test (scan) next week, which will be at 5w and a bit,.. is that too early? any help with the HCG level would be so much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi there, not sure if this will help but i am 5 weeks today and i found out today that when i was 4 weeks and 5 days preg my hcg was 2190 my dr said that was good. Maybe you arent as far along as you think i am sure everything is fine though. Also hcg doubles every few days. Let me know how you go?:thumbsup:

katiekitten, I had a bt at 4 weeks 1day ( bubs was conceived ivf so am sure of days) and hcg was 269. 6 days later it went up to 6562. I had a 6 week scan yesterday and there is a heartbeat and all looks good. I think your levels are fine.

well my levels have risen...

But they have only gone up by 500.

I am going for a ultrasound on Monday, so hopefully we will see something.

The doctor said its only 1 in 3 women levels don't rise much so that is what he is thinking. Hope he is right.
He also said its a good sign that im not bleeding and had no more cramping.

So hopefully everything is okay.

My level as of wednesday was 212. Cant say how far along I am though as my cycle is all over the place thanks to a miscarriage.

My lMP was the 9th Feb - i got a BFP with a home test on the 12th March. We went to GP yesterday and he confirmed it with a urine test and he also sent me for blood.

I just got the results this morning and that was positive too and my hcg was 269.

Katiekitten: Nothing to worry about. When I was 4 weeks and 1 day my levels were 270. I think you are pretty much on track. I had my scan at about 7 weeks. They still couldn't see anything for the external scan so did and internal one. Bub's heart is beating nicely.

I think by about 5 weeks your bubs heart should start beating. So you maybe lucky and get to see it with your scan.

KatieKitten, If your worried, I should be panicking... My levels at 4 weeks 1 day were 86. 4 weeks 3 days 220. Getting results for 5 weeks tomorrow morning.

Mine are low, but still within the "expected range" for my dates.


Im honestly not too worried. Boosies still feel sore, and I guess Im at the stage where I have stressed soooo much, I cant stress anymore (tomorrow is another day though!:o )

i have had small stabbing pains in my lower abdomen and also just next to my belly button --- i guess thats why the worry.. i decided not to get a blod test today and just spend the whole weekend in bed relaxing.... would love to hear more stories!

My App on Sat brought levels of 998 up from 220 (4 day Gap) But my doc says they are not rising enough.:confused:

She has called off a blood test to wait for US results. US is not till 27/3 so I am packing it, trying to stay Positive, but scared out of my mind.

Google for once has been reassuring.. saying that levels should double every 48/72 hours.. so I am a bit mad at my doc for getting us all uptight that its not doubling.. when I think it is, just not every 24 hours.. But I dont know if Im trying to cling to false hope with that..

Ohhhhhhhh.... Its so so hard waiting, scared.

im a little confused, i thought the hcg was meant to double evey 48 hours?

"Below an hCG level of 1,200 mIU/ml the hCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours, though a rise of 50-60% is still considered normal. Between 1,200 and 6,000 mIU/ml serum the hCG usually takes 72-96 hours to double, and above 6,000 mIU/ml, the hCG often takes more than four days to double."

So based on your calcs, i would look at it like this...

998 up from 220 (4 day Gap)

220 x 2 = 440
440 x 2 = 880

your 998 is above that, so not sure why your doc was concerned.. perhaps I am reading this wrong...but i would suspect its fine...

also, i got a blood test today, for re-assurance, so i dont know why yours was cancelled...

were your tests done at the same time of the day???

i had bt @ 16DPO (4w2d) = 310
i had bt @ 20DPO (4w6d) = 2200

Im not sure if thats enough... i always thought it was meant to double with every 48 hours, but looking @ some of the others at 20dpo, sounds a little less...

im getting a scan tomorrow, as i have continued to get cramps(like period).. is that a bad sign?????????
