I felt my bubby move! yay!

I have been feeling the baby the last few days...like a squirmy feeling, generally on my left side, about 3 inches down from my bust.

Its a strange feeling!!! Its like I ate a fish (alive) and its still swimming!!!!

My friend who is also pregnant said that it feels like when you have a frog in your two clasped hands when you were little and it is moving about, but not powerful enough to get anywhere !!! This about sums it up!!!

Anyone else having movement yet!? xxx

Congrats .... that is soo exciting!! I can't wait to feel the baby move around - though my placenta is at the front so I might not be able to feel much for a while. I thought I felt some flutters when I was trying to sleep the other night - still trying to work out if I was imagining it :confused: :laughing:

Ive got absolutely no idea what I am meant to be looking out for... A hundred different ways of what it apparently feels like.. I don't think I've felt anything yet... :confused:

I think I felt a heal to the side last night!!
Nick thinks I'm imagining things. Every time I get him to feel bub stops moving.

I didn't feel Flutters, unless you count my belly rumbles. I had no idea it would go straight to kicks!

i've only felt a couple of movements without having my hands on my stomach. but with my hands there, i can feel little bumps every now and then and DH has felt them as well. its pretty amazing!! i can't wait for more. :)
i was 18-19 weeks before i definitely knew what i was feeling and some things i've read say up to 24 weeks, so don't stress if you haven't felt the baby move yet. soon we'll all be complaining they are wriggling too much!! :D

I was the same. At around 17.5 weeks, I started feeling something - more like vibrations than flutters though. It was 18 weeks before I knew for sure they were movements, as I started feeling definite little kicks as well. It was extremely weird at first, and not all that pleasant, but over the past week I've really started loving the movements and I feel them all the time now. I think I've got a really active baby because I get little kicks all through the day. Its a really emotional thing and I feel like I'm not alone now, if that makes sense.

We think we may have also felt a body part sticking out really low down on one side on Friday night - almost like a leg/foot or something (even DH could feel it). Isn't it all so cool?

it must be strange after we give birth to not feel any wriggling anymore!

i think the weirdest thing at the moment is lying on my back and seeing a round bump sticking out below my tummy button. there is definitely something living in there!! :D

Its been great to feel movement...and we did a test last night with my sis..

She put her head where i was feeling them and said when she felt or heard something, and at the same time i was feeling them, so they are REAL!

I know what you all mean, i felt the "indigestion further down" feeling but wasnt convinced it was the baby, but today i felt real little kicks, its really soft just like a light finger brushing against your skin but from the inside, i get them all over my lower abdo, i was really worried until today that i wasnt sure what was happening, im nearly 17 weeks, so it is very early on, but yes, i can relax now, that and i got to hear bubs heart beat today, but with the movements this morning I'm not scared anymore, i feel it all the time, its lovely. and thats what my secret smile is for

This morning on waking up DF and I could both feel a lump on the left side of my belly!!
We couldn't tell if it was a foot or elbow but it was the first time DF was able to feel anything so we are over the moon!!!

He knows I'm not making up now!!!

i'm 18 weeks today, I think i felt movement on monday when i was on a flight, but i'm still not sure...i always think it's my uterus stretching:confused:
