Hi

Hoping to join in some chats here! I have a 5 mth old baby girl and two teens (from prev marriage...hence the gap). I was 36 when I fell pregnant and felt good about it and it was good to see lots of others my age. Got abit fed up being referred to as an older mum!! What will they say if I have more?!

hi paris and milliemoo - welcome to the 30+s section.

milliemoo - can you see any differences in yourself as mother from when you were first a mum to now?

Hi and welcome:wave:

I had my dd when I was 35 and have a 8yr old and a 16yr old.

Don't worry about what people say if you have more. Its your life and if it makes you happy and thats what you want, go for it!

Hi RedCrayon!

It is hard to remember at times how I was at 21! I feel pretty chilled out with Amelia and really enjoy every minute. One thing stuck with me...NY Eve just gone I couldn`t have cared less and wanted to stay in...at 21 i was frantic to find a sitter and just HAD to go out! Sign of the times!

I just smile when ppl offer their opinions:)

I figure I was 21 when I had my first and everyone frowned on how young I was.. gossip of the village in the Uk!..then 36 for my last when I was told by many medical people i saw that I was old to be giving birth:(. Well there isn`t much (15yrs) of a space to do the right thing is there!

Yeah, they call you elderly if you are over 30.

I am (does quick maths) 38 this year! ouch!
I have a five and a seven year old.
It's funny, because I use the age thing as an excuse for not having more babies...you know, when people say, "So, are you having any more?"

Hello Blackdog

This was a good thread so thanks for opening it up again.

I am 38 in Sept and can`t quite believe it!

No one asks me if I`m having anymore and if I mention it I get remarks I have had enough and too old!

keep posting:)
