Another thread was suggesting the possibility of a mini meet at the Melbourne Zoo on Sunday. Haven't heard back about it so I thought I would open it up especially since I have already told Ruby about it and she has the memory of an Elephant.

Anyone interested in coming to the zoo at short notice?

How much does a zoo ticket cost these days Chelle? If it would be OK, then I'd like to bring the bump along, I likes aminals!

Oops...posted at almost the same time!
I think of the zoo this way...it is a little pricey but you can and do (well we do anyway), spend all day there.
Make sure you take your own food - the zoo's is expensive and it's c.r.a.p!

ah, I might sit this one out then (as I don't think I'm in a fit state to walk around for the whole day, so probably not viable!), but I'll be sure to be there with bells on once the legs are up to a bit of a walk. Maybe April if this one works and y'all want to go again!

Oh darn Chelle. I wish I'd seen this thread. I was thinking of the zoo on Sunday but went out to Healesville instead. I'd definitely be interested another time!

There will definately be a next time. Ruby wants to go to Healesville again as she wants to see the "danger birds". She is suddenly into all the birds of prey!
