Just wanted to give anyone with partners working in the pilbara a big hug!! and anyone living there too!! ALso thinking about the family of the poor woman killed this morning at the rail camp and the other families who have been affected by Cyclone George.

aparantly its pretty full on up there. my DP is at mining camp Area C, and they're on red alert waiting for the cyclone. he rang this morning before the phonelines went down, to let me know he's ok. there's nowhere to evacuate them to, so they've been told to shelter in their ensuites.

my thoughts and prayers the the woman who died and her family. such a tragic time

My DH (in Newman) survived ok. I think the day off and quite a number of beers helped :rolleyes: :laughing: .
