I don't, simple as that. I have given up trying to control myself and so has DH. :o
It is hard.
I am very fussy (I am not interested in cutesy nappies) yet I still have bought a lot - ie. too many.
What works for me is not visit any sites! But if I am reading a forum I might have a look and then that can be hard. Also I have an online store so I am tempted by the other productson that mall (WAHMania)

The only thing that stops me is an empty bank account, and DP asking my why I've been using his net banking! :o He's just started noticing these pay anyone transactions going through from his account, usually at around the $20-$35 mark.... He he he!
Now that he's noticed he won't buy my stories about winning nappies!!
"Oh, I was doing this great down under nappy hunt promotion, and I won about 8 free nappies from different websites. They are all made by WAHMs so they come from all over Australia. That one just looks secondhand because I washed it already..." LOL
Great! news is that he's back at uni and I'm the breadwinner so I can set aside as much as I want for my nappy addiction and all he can do is sit there and watch!!! It's my money, after all!!:smiliedance:
I think everyone will agree that a cloth nappy addiction is a hard habit to kick, but all we can do it go with it... One day our lovelies will throw their clothies to the wind and then instead of buying so many.... We can start selling our stashes!!! (Or maybe just having more babies so we can use them, and buy a few more, those newborn ones are so cute, I should check out buyena, then might have some lovely newborn nappies...Oh they are cheap....)

no need to have control then :D
im not having anymore babes.... but i keep telling myself i can buy more cos hes only a newborn!
dont know what ill do when i dont have that excuse any more!
Well I wont be having anymore babies as I have had my tubes done. But after buying all these nappies I am wishing I didn't have them done. The only way I stop myself from buying more is to stop looking at nappies but if that doesn't stop me I ban myself from the computer for a while.

Im pretty fussy with my nappies, having such a narrow field makes it slightly easier...for example I dont like PUL, Aplix/touchtape/velcro fastening, I dont like pockets really and I only like wool covers.
So mainly I am tempted to buy...
Fitteds with divine fabrics like bamboo velour.
Side snapping AIO's (hard to come buy so when I find one I snap it up)
Knitted woolies (my current addiction)
And the odd "show off" nappy, like a Berry Plush...
I am quite restrained and if I buy something and dont like it I just sell it or swap it to fund more nappies I do like...
I am very similar to you Stellarella :)
I am on a nappy ban now as I just had a good week just past with some very special nappies and woollies etc. It looks like I might have to try saving money as we might be having to move house. We might even buy a house and tbh I really need more space more than I need more nappies, clothes and possessions. I just love buying and supporting WAHMs. I very rarely buy mass produced things.

Dont stop buying the nappies, as Im sure your girlfriends will enjoy them. My very special girlfriend gave me all of hers.

Well its hard, but i dont spend the money unless weve got it simple as that.
I usually buy a few when i was suppose to be buying sposies now i only buy for dd,but once i get a stash for Sasha ill get a few for Serena as she is only in nappies when we go to the shops or when she's in bed at night.
I will be keeping my nappies for when i have another bub for sure.
Main reason for me is I don't have the money.
I could seriously do with maybe 4-6 more nappies which would help alot.
I have an addiction to looking at nappies online and wishing I had them but that's about as far as it goes.
I have other things i need to spend our money on.
