Who feels they are getting old at 30? Maybe its just because I started my kids at 19 at im starting to wear out from them. The day I turned 30 I swear that was the day when my first grey hair popped up, now there are heaps and DH gets annoyed cause now I have to get my hair done at the hairdressers regualry to hide them.
Just think 30 years has gone quick so it wont be long till another 30 years go by and we will be 60
Oh im tired now I need a Nanna Nap:laughing:

I wont be 30 till August..........but some days I do, other days I feel 21.
Like you, I had my kids young, 2wks after I turned 20 and 4mths after I turned 21. Now that I'm pregnant again, I am feeling so drained and run down. I ache from head to toe and I feel about 50.
And I got my first grey hair at 21, lol.

I feel tired. But I felt tired 10 years ago. I don't feel much different to when I was 20.

Old? No way! I feel more stable, more able, healthier, fitter, more attractive, more in tune, more capable, more accomplished, busier than ever, more fulfilled, more hopeful, more optimistic, more financial, braver, stronger... than ever before in my life.
My life began changing for the better around 28 and it has kept changing (still for the better) for the past 5 years.

EXACTLY how I feel! I love being 30...I have only just stopped second guessing myself.
If my 30's are this good then bring on the 40's I say!

I agree. I love being 31.
I feel much happier now than ever before.
I feel independent, happy and I have got to the point in my life where I don't care as much what other people think of me.
I used to worry about that all the time and I felt that it held me back in a certain way.
I would stay 31 forever if I could.
(I have heard that 'everyone' in heaven is 30)

Well Im 30 in September... and gotta say the number kinda freaks me out...
I still feel the same as when I was 20, but am in a better place than I was back then. Have meet a beautiful man, completed our family and have a stable home for our boys...
Do I feel old - Hell no, but I wish I could hold onto the 20's for a little longer.

Im just starting to feel old because everytime i get up out of a chair or lying down, its like my feet and ankles seize up. They are so stiff, maybe its arthritis setting in? Some days I still feel young, like when a song that used to play when I was at the pub plays and I feel like getting drunk again and partying all night. Then I think, nah im to old for that! I loved my 20's even though it was the hardest time in my life with a break up I still had lost of fun and 20 sounds better!

I actually think approaching the whole being 30 thing a tad scary!.. I look at that number.. damn the big 30 and think, sh*ite.. it wasn't long enough that I had left year 12, and here I am approaching the big 30?? What the???
I will be hitting the big 30 in September & will have 2 children by then.. It makes me wonder.. where the heck did the last 12 or so years go!..
I actually still feel & act like I am 18-19 in a way, although I am certainly more wiser to the world!.. If age has bought me anything, it's wisdom! It's always the case of if I knew then what I know now!..
Sorry.. definitely NOT looking forward to saying I am 30 anytime soon!
The day I turned 30 I didn't want to get out of bed!!
Although I hate getting older, it's all just going too fast, I would much rather be 30 (or 31 as I currently am) than 21.
My DH's friends all have young girlfriends in their early 20's I find them so frustrating. They are so dependant on their boyfriends and all they ever talk about is clothes, shopping and what is on their ipods!
I don't feel old in myself - infact most of the time I feel about 15 - especially around other people - but that is a confidence thing!!
However, since turning 30 I have noticed that physically things are different - I can't drink more than 2 glasses of wine without feeling rotten the next day, I can't stay out past 9.30pm, my back aches, my feet are sore, i have twinges I never had before...i could go on
BUT I like being 30something.

I turn 30 in May, and I have to say it doesn't really bother me, I prob feel like I'm in my mid 20's, I think of myself as 26  I still like a good night out with the girls, or a good b!tch with my girlfriends, and still like top 20 music  No grey hairs here yet, and sometimes, like this arvo, I get asked 'is your mum home' when I answer the phone. Age is a state of mind, or a state of your voice, in my sake,

my 30s have been fantastic. it didn't bother me turning 30. it's been a decade of finally knowing who i am. it's a time when you finally work out what you want and have the confidence to go out and get it. yay, 30s!
ask me in 10 years about my 40s and i fill you in on those too :D
