OMG!!!!!!! How awful! Are you TTC or breastfeeding? If not, Id be asking teh doc for a Mini pill prescription, so you can avoid AF. You can stop the Pill straight after the "big Day"
Ohhh! Congratulations:yelclap: :smiliedance: , and I hope you find a way to have a "AF Free" Wedding Zone.

 Nope. I should have had it, but I skipped it using the pill. Can you go on the pill just until your wedding to skip AF? What a pain!!
Well I was thinking of going on the pill-but Im still BFing.Im worried coz my midwife told me it can affect Riley-like give him girlie tendencies LOL.
I dont want to have my AF :gloomy:
I dont want cramps or bloating or the chance of staining my dress:o
I was going to suggest the same thing. Get a pill script and start taking on next AF then just skip the sugar pills and AF should stay away.
whoops just posted at the same time.
The mini pill is supposed to be safe for breastfeeding mums - check with your GP.
As for me I didn't have AF on my wedding day cos I was pregnant!!:p

hey chel, aparently if you go to your doc, you can get something that only stops you from getting af for a few days, they will only prescribe if for special occasions, and you don't take it for very long
oh and no I didn't have af on my wedding cause I was preg,
oh i didn't af on my wedding day cos i was pregnant too!!
oh i didn't af on my wedding day cos i was pregnant too!!
Me too  12 weeks
Chels, I don't mean to sound gross but - What's the biggy about AF"s anyway. It's only makin' love! You don't have to cook on it :o
Besides if it really bothers you, you can *cough* 'plug' it up with a sea sponge
BF AF's are usually irregualar anyway.
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BIG DAY
Its not the sex Im worried about,I havent had my period for 2 years so its heavy,I get bloated and bad cramps.I dont like using tampons(but I will)so the idea of granny knickers and a HUGE pad under my dress is just soooo unsexy.Plus running to the loo every 2 hours to change my pad is not ideal:gloomy: :gloomy:

The mini pill won't change when menstruation occurs. It will occur on the normal day, so no point getting it if skipping AF is the only reason.
The is my biggest worry aswell. I ain't getting married til October. But I ain't setting a date so I know when I should have them. I am also BF and have only had 1 AF in 3mths.

Well lets say I was due 2 days AFTER my wedding but this was not going to happen.....
When we got to our hotel room after our reception my DH started to undress me out of my wedding gown (as they do.... ) and well he let out a gasp and politely said honey... your under skirt is red....
Sometime from the beginning of my reception til the time we got to the hotel AF had made her entrance!!!!!!!!!
I spent the next hour sitting in the spa bath (it was empty and I was still in my under skirt (the main gown was saved thank god!) bawling my eyes out meanwhile DH had to go and get me some supplies!
Some wedding night huh......

I've never heard of that. What does she mean by "girlie tendencies", I wonder?
