Child Life Support - $43.00 per person (incl. GST)
GST is only payable on the book(s) provided in the course.
This course introduces basic life support skills for children and infants, the management of burns and the use of an EpiPen for severe allergic reactions. There are no assessments associated with this course.
A St John Ambulance certificate of attendance is issued on completion.
This course will not result in a Department of Education, Science & Training (DEST) nationally recognised qualification.
Content:
* D.R.A.B.C.D. action plan.
* Recovery position for an unconscious casualty.
* Choking, asthma and drowning.
* Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation for children and infants.
* Control external bleeding.
* Burns
* Allergic reaction and EpiPen use.
Suitable for parents, relatives and anyone who wishes to gain or refresh basic skills in child and infant resuscitation
