View Full Version : Trainee Doula looking for Pregnant Ladies in Brisbane
Hi Ladies,
I am training to become a doula or childbirth support person, and of course, to get my qualifications I need to assist women during their pregnancy and labour.
If you are a pregnant mum in Brisbane and would like to explore the idea of having a Doula to support you, (free of course!) I would love to hear from you.
Cheers

Im just inquirying about how you can become a doula? What course do you have to get into to become one? Do you need prior qualifications to get into it? Im really interested in it and it would be much appreciated if you could give me some info.

Hi Jayden's Mum.
I think I may have replied in a different thread....but here's the info for you again....hope it helps!......
There are no pre-requisites to get into the course - it is simply a matter of deciding if it is the path you wish to take, and then paying the fees for the course you want to do. Here is the link to the website.....

They have a section where you can compare other similar courses and there are also a few sample courses you can look at to see if it is what you are looking for.

Thanks for that info, tracie. Im just wondering does that course get recognised world wide? I read the website and it seems to be an American site. Is their anything available in Australia? Thanks again for the info.
