U2 tickets

I just lined up and got tickets for the Adelaide U2 concert. I bought them for my sister in Perth - she and her hubby are flying over for it.

She rang me this morning and asked me to get on the net and buy them for her, but we have a BASS outlet at the chemist down the road and I knew not many people would be lining up - well, they were camping out in Adelaide but here in Murray Bridge? No way! Tickets went on sale at midday, I got there at 11 and was 10th in line. I got front row on the side in C Reserve (which was exactly what she wanted). They're unreal seats -she screamed when I rang her and told her. I can't believe she's 43 sometimes!

I kind of wish I was going but I don't know if we'll be still here in SA or in Melbourne by then. Stupid house - I wish it would sell! :(

My SIL has been getting me to try to log on to the site all day.
She is desperate for Brissy tickets. I have given up!!! :rolleyes:

Bummer I didn't realise it was today!! Would have loved to surprise dh with tickets :o Whoops!! Oh well.... probably cant really afford it anyway!!

Apparently it's impossible to get through on either the website or the phone sales. There were people in line behind me just pressing redial on their mobiles trying to get through with no luck.

Tickets are $99 for C Reserve & general admission, $130 for B Reserve and $160 I think for A Reserve.

I will have to retract all the mean (but true) things I have said about my MIL on this site.

She has bought DH & I tickets for Brisbane show - yippeeeeee :) :) :)

my sister lined up this morning for tickets to the sydney show, she was pretty much near the front of the line, and still ended up in the rafters!! her sil was at home trying to get on to the site and book through there but she had no luck. my sis is still pretty happy though, they are her dh fav band so at least they will be there! :)
