The Gap anyone??

I moved to The Gap on Saturday and its only Monday and I'm going STIR CRAZY.

Is there anyone nearby? Walking distance would be nice!

I desperately need to get out of the house... and I bet Andrew would love it if his mumma would get a life and become a happy mummy instead of a tired tired cranky mumma who just wants to unpack boxes and then go to sleep for a week or two.

Moving bites. Especially when you have a 9 mth old to entertain who suddenly doesn't like to sleep anymore. Not moving again til he's old enough to amuse himself....

*sigh* I don't hold out much hope of there being any of you around here, but hey...its not gonna hurt to advertise is it? :)

Hey Nicole, wanna have a coffee this week sometime? How was the move? I know a gazillion beautiful mummies in the Gap that I can introduce you to!:D Aaaaand, we are having our mums group tomorrow morning at Walton Bridge park! Come along:D

Hello :)

I'd love to have a coffee (well the idea of a coffee anyway, cos i don't drink it!). Would you like to meet at my place, or venture out? If out, will have to be within walking distance, cos I am without wheels!

The move was good - went smoothly. Now we just have to unpack and get organised and of course we are missing a thousand essential items. I went to wash the dishes this morning and no dish-cloth. Went to chop up some food - no chopping board. And so on.

Its yucky hot here and a few of the windows are missing fly-screens, so I am not opening them cos all the bugs come in. The ceiling fans just aren't good enough when you are used to air-conditioning!

I looked up Walton Bridge park on the map, it looks walkable. Could be wrong! Will have to check with DH later, cos he grew up here and knows the are better than me. What time are you meeting up?

Anyway gotta go chase my little terror - he is having fun exploring the new house and finding new ways to get into mischief!

Yup Walton Bridge is prety walkable from most areas of the Gap. We noramlly meet at 1030ish. I just have check if I am required at Preschool tho, I jst rememebered its Tobys last day tomorrow. I will get back to you....maybe I could come and walk with you?
