My wife and I are moving to Southport this week and have absolutely no idea of what is available in terms of child care in the area. :confused:
A bit about us...
We have 2 boys (2 1/2 years and 3 months) have just moved from Italy and we are finalising Valentina's residency permit. As soon as her permit is approved she is planning on commencing English classes at the TAFE and I'll be working full-time.
After living in the general anarchy that is Italy, we get the impression that things are really well set up in Australia: especially for families. We just don't knbow where to start. We don't know anybody or anything but we do know that we need child care and the boys need to socialise and start learning English.
Any sort of help or information at all will be very much appreciated. Child care centres or play group or whatever.
